"I thought that writing books would be easy. But after seeing
Jill, I see there is a whole lot of work that goes into it. She
made me think about books in a different way, and I like that." "I will try to remember not to flush an alligator down the toilet." "I think it is neat that you aren't always perfect." "I learned when you get an idea, write it down before it goes
away." "I hope you come back soon in my dreams." "You gave us the most surprising day of our lives." "Jill taught me how if you take a simple situation, and add a
little imagination, you've got a story!" "I like how you knew our feelings. In heart to me you feel and
act like a kid." "I liked it when you talked like a cowboy."

"Absolutely the best speaker we've ever had." "Jill Stover makes you feel like you're in Texas as she vividly
describes the town, the animals, and the people who make up the
area in which she grew up. The audience was spellbound, the parents
thrilled, and this librarian was extremely pleased. Can't wait
for #3 to come out so that she can come back and entertain and
inspire us again!" "You really wowed the audience with your stories and drawings.
Take my word for it...folks better watch out for the gal from
Texas!" "I love the way she uses humor to convey important themes about
life and the environment." "There was such an energy between Jill Stover and the children!
They seemed to buzz with excitement and ideas as they left the
room. The older children learned about the process of taking their
own experiences and using imagination to create stories." "My 4th grader thought she was 'awesome...the best author we've
had', because she writes and draws. Her whimsical artwork presents a view of the world not
found in our part of the country." "I haven't laughed so hard in years."
